Privacy Policy.
This Privacy Policy explains how FocusAI Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you visit pulze.co.nz or sign up for the Pulze launch list. We follow the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and the Information Privacy Principles set out in that Act.
01Who we are
Pulze is a forthcoming product of FocusAI Limited, registered in New Zealand. Our registered address is Havelock North, Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand. We can be reached at early@pulze.co.nz.
02What we collect
When you sign up for the Pulze launch list, we collect:
- Your email address (required to send you the launch announcement)
- Whether you opted in to building-in-public updates (yes/no)
- Any optional information you choose to include when you email us — such as your name, role or business, region of interest, or how you heard about Pulze
When you visit pulze.co.nz, your browser may send standard web information that our web host logs automatically — including IP address, browser type, operating system, the pages you viewed, the time of visit, and the referring URL. We use this for basic site analytics and security only. We do not combine it with your personal information unless you have signed up.
We also use cookies. See our Cookie Policy for details.
03How we use your information
We use your email address only to:
- Send you a one-time launch announcement when Pulze goes live
- Send you occasional building-in-public updates — but only if you specifically opted in by ticking the box at signup
- Reply to any questions or messages you send us
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Ever.
04Who has access
Only the FocusAI Limited team has access to your personal information. We currently store signups in our email system. When we move to a dedicated email marketing platform (such as Mailchimp, Buttondown, or a similar provider), we will migrate your information to that service under the same privacy commitments and update this policy to reflect the change.
05How we store and secure information
We use reasonable security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure email systems, and access controls. We keep your information for as long as necessary to send you the launch announcement and, if you opted in, building-in-public updates. If you unsubscribe or don’t engage with our emails for an extended period after launch, we may delete your information.
No system is perfectly secure. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner as required by the Privacy Act.
06International transfers
Some of the services we use (email infrastructure, fonts, analytics) may be located outside New Zealand. When this happens, we use providers that offer protections comparable to those in the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
07Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020, you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct information that is inaccurate
- Ask us to delete your information
- Unsubscribe from any emails we send you
To exercise any of these rights, email early@pulze.co.nz. We will respond within 20 working days.
08Children’s privacy
Pulze is a B2B product not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.
09Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect any change. If we make material changes that affect how we use your information, we will notify subscribers by email before those changes take effect.
